Over the years, you’ve heard reports of journalist getting in trouble for manipulating their photos; usually they say they did it to give the story more emotion; or something like that. In the end, they usually get fired or reprimanded.

Here’s a group of photos that have been changed; mostly by politicians. You’ll see the original, then the altered.

The ones where a person is missing from the photograph is usually someone that fell out of favor with their leader.

Others were manipulated to make something look worse than what it was (missile launch, blood at temple, smoke in city).
